City Ham Meet 2005 - Bangalore
The Indian Institute of Hams are organising 'Silicon City
Ham Meet 2005' - a one-day convention on Saturday, 9th October
2005.
The venue is the S.J.R.College, Ananda Rao Circle, Near City Railway
Station, Bangalore-560 009.
Highlights:
1. Ham Radio Exhibition
2. Technical Session.
3. Preparedness program on Emergency Communication networks.
4. Fellowship of Hams
5. Presentation of Awards and certificates
6. Auction sale of used Ham equipments, accessories, components, valves
antennas etc.
And many more exciting activities.
Pre-Programs:
1. HF Garden City Contest on Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th September
2005
2. VHF Garden City Contest on Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th September
2005.
3. Quiz on Air for High Schools on Saturday 27th August 2005.
Delegation fee is Rs.50/- registered on or before 30th September 2005.
After the date it is Rs.75/- which includes includes Tea and Lunch (on
the date of convention). Accomodation will be arranged on payment as per
the delegates' requirements and comforts. Payments can be sent to INDIAN

Exhibition:
Non-Commercial exhibits related to communication will be free, nominal
charges will be levied on commercial exhibits. Participations / Exhibitors
should intimate the organizers on or before 30th September 2005. Exhibition
will be open for Students / General Public and at least 25 schools will
be visiting the exhibition. Ham Radio station on HF and VHF, Echo link
will be active through out the day.
