Thailand AMSAT seeks help in building satellite moduleThe Thailand AMSAT Group (TAMSAT) are hoping to build an Amateur module to be installed in a Thai satellite and they are looking for help from the wider Amateur community to assist with the circuit design for the module. Below is the email from TAMSAT. 73 Trevor M5AKA Thailand Amateur Radio Satellites Corporate or TAMSAT GROUP needs help
from all hams interested in ham radio satellites. We offer ourselves to
produce a module to report the status of satellite of Space Affairs Bureau.
This modules works in basic packet radio system (same as DOVE DO-17 satellite). There would be a module to record sound and send back that has a cycle of work in 1 minute as followed. Time 00 – 20 second : send telemetry about the status of the satellite in packet radio AFSK 1200 bps AX.25. Time 21 – 40 second : record the received sound 20 second. Time 41 – 60 second : send the recorded sound back 20 second. and for all the process, using frequency at 145.825 MHz in FM Our group would like to support about the circuit in the module together with the knowledge in real production. Therefore this module would be installed in the satellite of Space Affairs Bureau.
