Video clips of UK landmarks wanted

US amateur radio society ARRL is looking for DVD quality clips of amateur radio operators waving hello in front of famous UK landmarks such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament or the London Eye. The society wants to use the clips as part of a television campaign in 2006 to promote the hobby

The video clip should be a single shot of about 20 seconds. The first 10 seconds should be taken up by the person smiling or waving at the camera. Then the person should say “hello” in an enthusiastic manner and then resume smiling or waving for the final 10 seconds. The clip should feature amateur radio equipment and the more interesting the clip, the more likely it is to be used in the campaign.

Aspiring directors, get your creative caps on and send your clips to Mark Allgar at RSGB HQ or email him at mark.allgar<no spam>@rsgb.org.uk.

All material should arrive at the RSGB by 12 September to be considered for inclusion in the campaign.

Note: Please remove the <no spam> when sending an email
