Brits prepare for ARDF championships

The 13th World Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championship takes place in Bulgaria next month.

The RSGB will be sending a team of four to participate in what is the biggest amateur radio direction finding event of the year.

Bob Titterington, G3ORY, and Robert Vickers, G3ORI, will be taking part in the over-60s men category. David Williams will participate in the 40-50-year-old men section and David Heale has entered the 21-35-year-old men category.

The RSGB team has been training hard over the past year at both UK and overseas events. Bob and Robert won international medals in the German and US championships respectively and David Williams was the highest rated western European in the prestigious Region 1 championships.
