Atlantic Director resigns - moves to Ontario
In mid-June, Atlantic Region Director Dave Goodwin VO1AU advised
the RAC Board of Directors of his resignation effective June 30
2006 because of his move back to Ottawa.
Director Goodwin presented a motion to the RAC Board of Directors monthly
teleconference meeting on June 20 2006 that Assistant Director Len Morgan
VE9MY serve out the balance of his term. His recommendation
was accepted by the Board, and the motion was passed, appointing Len Morgan
to serve as Atlantic Region Director for the balance of the term, ending
December 31, 2006.
Because the July/August issue of TCA was already being printed,
it was not possible to inform the membership of the director change in
that issue of TCA. It will, however, be noted in the September/October
2006 issue of TCA magazine.
The Board and Officers of Radio Amateurs of Canada thank David for his
enthusiastic support of RAC and his promotion of RAC in the Maritime provinces.
