Results of the BARC 40m Phone Competition

The Boland Amateur Radio Club 40m phone competition, which was held on Sunday 22 July, produced the following results:

First place, with a total of 85 points goes to André Botes, ZS2ACP. In the second place, with 72 points, is Michelle van der Merwe, ZS6TO, and in the third place with 68 points is Jan Botha, ZS4JAN.

Congratulations go to these stations. Their certificates will be forwarded shortly.

In Division 1 it was Allan Wood, ZR1AAH and in Division 5 we have Dave Jones, ZS5DJ. No log sheets were received from Division 3.

Only one log sheet was received from a neighbouring country, it is from Andy Cory, 3DAOTM, in Swaziland who will also be receiving his certificate shortly.

Quite a number of stations were on the air but only 13 logs were received. BARC thanks all the stations who took part and is looking forward to next year's competition.
