Alberton Amateur Radio Club starts Ladies Net action

South Africa's Alberton Amateur Radio Club has started the Ladies Net action on Wednesday evenings from 19:30 on the 145,612 5 MHz repeater in Gauteng.

All ladies are welcome to join in discussions regarding recipes, handy tips and "boererate".

If a wife of an amateur is not licenced, her husband can relay her input for the network.

This past Wednesday the President of the SARL, Graham Hartlett, and his wife also joined in the fun. His request was that more people should join in this fun network.
