Brazilian pair attempt a robbery live on the radio

Two would-be robbers in Brazil, who must surely qualify for the title of the world’s dumbest criminals, burst into the studio of Rádio Verde e Rosa in Alto Paraná at 1.30 am on Sunday morning.

Romualdo Fernandes, 35, and a 17-year-old teenager demanded money, but apparently didn’t realise that their victim, Tiago Amorin da Silva, was talking live on the air at the time.

Over 100 listeners called the police, who immediately went to the radio station and arrested them.
