RTA in Gauteng to feature some exciting lectures

The Radio Technology in action open day to be held at the South African Radio League National Amateur Radio Centre on 19 August 2006 features some interesting lectures.

Included in the programme is a paper on Ionospheric Research and HF propagation.

Learn more about SDR- software defined radio.
How to build antennas that can be used in restricted areas like townhouses and retirement villages.
Bring your youngster to attend the Youth Forum, which will discuss what amateur radio can do for learners and students.

Final touches are currently being made to the programme.
