Summits on the Air

Amateur radio ramblers Tom and Jimmy Read, M1EYP and M3EYP, are due to complete an epic 268 mile journey along the Pennine Way on Sunday 13 August.

During their travels, the pair have activated an impressive number of hills as part of the Summits on the Air award programme.

To mark the completion of their walk, they are activating the summit of The Cheviot on Sunday 13 August on 2m FM and SSB
