Amateur Radio operator co-hosts tv talk show

On August 18, 2006 Emery McClendon KB9IBW was a special guest host on the 1st TV version of 'Talking With Heroes.'

The show will air on Stardust Radio with audio only on August 20, 2006. The show will air on Comcast Cable public Access at a date TBA.

The show had 5 guests and featured a few comments about Amateur Radio, and ARMAD.

As a result of the appearance on this show ARMAD will be featured on the Sept. 18 show of the American Legion which also is broadcast on Comcast Cable Public Access.

The American Legion has also requested a show featuring Amateur Radio in general for a future show sometime in September.

During this show, Chad Beach W9GGA and Richard Andrew N9HRA will be guests. Both of these Amateur Radio operators dedicate many hours to public service and emergency communications.

This is good publicity for Amateur Radio and ARMAD.
