The QCWA Wild Rose Chapter 151 has acquired special event call sign
VE6QCWA for use from September 1 - September
30, 2006.
This to celebrate the upcoming QCWA National Convention - 2006, hosted
by Wild Rose Chapter 151 in Calgary, AB, from September 28 - 30th, 2006.
A special event QSL card will be designed for this occasion. All stations
working VE6QCWA and wanting a QSL card should QSL direct to Ken Oelke
- VE6AFO via www.qrz.com
address. A SASE would be greatly appreciated!
It is also our hope to have the special event station on the air from
our convention home, Port O' Call Hotel, via a remote base system.
