XM Satellite Radio gets FCC approval to resume production of three productsXM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc said on Friday that the US Federal Communications Commission had given it the go-ahead to sell three radio models after concerns about whether they met regulations. XM shares rose as much as 9 percent after the news. The FCC had been looking into whether XM products that have traditional FM radio transmitters as well as satellite links had the potential to interfere with standard radios. The company, which had asked manufacturers to stop producing certain products, said it asked suppliers to resume production of the three models. Source: Media Network, Reuters
