Czech 505 kHz beacon now active -
reports welcome

There is now a new Czech beacon active on 505.060 kHz.

Lubos, OK2BVG provides the following information.

Thanks to Czech Telecommunication Office (CTO), particularly Department of Frequency Spectrum Management and the director of this office, I have obtained permission for the beacon OK0EMW experimental operation:

Frequency: 505.060kHz
Power: 1W ERP max
Location: Breclav, JN88KS
Mode: CW 6WPM / QRSS3
Text: Identification 'Beacon OK0EMW JN88KS' in regular CW at 6WPM is followed by 2x CALL and QRA locator in QRSS3.

Transmitter: DDS VFO (home made) + PA DEBEG 7121 with reduced power
Aerial: Inverted-L with 23m vertical and 102m horizontal sections

The results of ERP field-measurements (2180m from the aerial) is 0.95W ERP
