DXpedition to The Gambia

Members of the 'Mosquitos Contest Club' (known as OM0C Contest Crew) continue to prepare for their trip to The Gambia, which will take place between October 17-30th.

The OM0C contest team will use the callsign C52C and C50C.

Operators mentioned are: Rich OM2TW, Bob OM1KW, Joe OM5AW, Roman OM2RA, Norbert OM5NM, Dano OM1NW and Jan OM2XW.

Activity will be on all HF bands (160-10m) and 6m with an emphasis on the lower bands, especially 160m.

During their DXpedition, the team will try to activate Bijol Island (AF-060). Currently, they still don't have permission for landing or the licence for the island. (KYFC and stay
