International Polar Year

In recognition of the 1st Portuguese Operation in the Artic Circle by Marq, CT1BWW (JW/CT1BWW), he has since been invited to represent Portugal for the Celebration of Polar Year 2007/2008.

Special call CQ4IPY (I.P.Y. - International Polar Year, valid for IPY AWARD), will be aired from September 8-14th.

Activity will be on all bands 80-10m using Phone, CW, PSK31, RTTY and SSTV. QSL via CT1BWW.

There is a special certificate for anyone who can work at least 3 different bands or 2 different modes.
