Amateur radio, out of this world

The NASA Web site has an excellent article about the ARISS program.

You can read it at:

behindscenes/ariss.html

In Canada, the Sponsors are the Canadian Space Agency, Radio Amateurs of Canada and AMSAT.

Since the start of the program, there have been 21 Canadian schools that have had a contact with an astronaut aboard the International Space Station and we have another 11 waiting for their turn to come up.

If you know of a Canadian school interested in this adventure, refer them to me and we will take it from there.

and
Canadian Delegate,
