UK Defence Spectrum Management Presentation SlidesThe slides used at the recent Defence Spectrum Management Industry Day recently held by the MoD are now available on the web. The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is consulting on the reform of UK Defence spectrum management in 2008 - 12, and on extending market principles to the Ministry of Defence's use of the radio spectrum. This could see usage rights to large chunks of MoD spectrum being sold off to third parties. The Amateur and Amateur Satellite services do not have any Primary spectrum between 430 MHz and 24 GHz. Most of the secondary allocations that they have are shared with the UK Ministry of Defence, the rest are shared with other Public Sector Organisations.
