Internet Radio arrives in-car

Radio Today says streaming Internet radio in cars has taken a step forward with the announcement from Chrysler in America that they are to include UConnect Wi-Fi routers from next year.

The aim of Chrysler is to provide Internet connectivity to keep passengers entertained but it is another step towards the day when AM/FM car radios are replaced by Internet radios enabling drivers to tune into thousands of Internet radio stations.
