GB3WX - 6m / 10m Cross-band Repeater - update

Hi All,

Following-on from our initial release back in May, we are pleased to announce that, following a meeting of the ETCC on the 22nd August, which also involved an Ofcom representative, GB3WX, the proposed 6m / 10m crossband repeater, has outline permission to proceed.

We have not been given an NoV yet, and still have to go through the formal application process, but subject to some minor changes to the proposal / application, which will need to be re-submitted, and some clarification which we have requested, we should be on our way.

As indicated by the ETCC Regional Manager, in an e-mail communication, "If you would revise the E1 forms accordingly and re-submit to me, it should go through the system without delay."

Once we have received clarification on the points we have raised, and the group members have had a chance to determine our way forward, then we will provide full details.

To all those who provided their support for the project, either via our own on-line survey or the ETCC version, numbering 150+ UK, European, and DX amateurs, we offer our thanks.
