GB7NT packet radio node to close

The GB7NT packet radio node first came on the air in October 1993 and has been providing a service to radio amateurs in the South-East Wales area for almost seventeen years.

Times change, and these days the daily users of the node are few and far between with most now using other 'non-radio' means to access DX Cluster information.

In view of these dwindling numbers, and the often thankless task of maintaining the equipment, I propose to give notice of closure of the node unless there is shown to be sufficient enthusiasm for it to remain on-air.
