Two club Chairmen meet

A club meeting provided an opportunity for the Chairmen of the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) and the Malvern Hills Radio Amateurs Club (MHRAC) to meet for
the first time in ten years

The Chairman of the MHRC, Brian Miller M1HHL, used to be a member of CARS before moving to Herefordshire in 1999. He happened to be visiting Essex and took the opportunity to attend the club meeting.

Both he and CARS Chairman John Bowen G8DET enjoyed a first class presentation on the work of the IARU by Peter Chadwick G3RZP who used to be a CARS member in the 1960's before he moved out of Chelmsford in 1969.
