MARP voted in as International Amateur Radio Union memberThe Montenegrin Amateur Radio Pool (MARP), formed in October 2008, has been accepted as the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) member society. 65 votes were returned to the IARU International Secretariat with 63 votes in favor of admission and 2 abstentions. The Republic of Montenegro (4O) declared its independence on June 3, 2006 following a national referendum and was admitted as the 192nd member of the United Nations on June 28, 2006.
