Spanish Lighthouse WFF/FEA Op

Members of the URE, LYNX and DXCITING from the EA3 and EA5 districts will activate EG3LH from the Faro el Galacho,
Punta Corballera Lighthouse between September 4-5th.

This Lighthouses is valid for the following awards programs: ARLHS SPA-058, FEA (Diploma faros de Espana) FEA E-0371.2 and the WFF EAFF-116 Delta de l'Ebre, and is located in Punta de la Banya Area, ALFACS BAY, Sant Carles de la Rapita, TARRAGONA, SPAIN.

This is the first time a DXpedition has operated there, and it took 3-4 years to prepare for it. It is almost impossible to gain access/permission to the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park, and also very difficult to get a license. They will travel there by ship.

Activity will be on all HF bands using CW, SSB and RTTY. The team of operators are: Javi/EA3AGB, Gabriel/EA3AKA, Manel/EA3EGB, Joan/EA3ESZ, John/EA3GHZ, EA5EOR, Juan/EA5KA, Francisco/EA5RU and Jose/EA5WP. QSL via EA3GHZ, by the Bureau or direct. For more details, see: http://eg3lh.blogspot.com
