SARL IARU fund 2004/2005

The South African Amateur Radio Development Trust will be continuing raising contributions for the SARL IARU fund to enable the SARL to meet its payment commitments to the IARU within the time frame. Annual fees are due by June each year.

In September 2005 the tri-annual IARU Region 1 conference will be held in Switzerland. As a major player in Africa, the South Africa Radio League must be represented by at least one delegate. Current membership fees will not be able to cover the cost involved. The fees for 2004 were paid at the end of November.

The SA Amateur Radio Development Trust thanks all those who have contributed. R14 921 was collected. The amount in Rand paid to the IARU was R12 204. The balance carried over to the 2005 appeal is R1 916,00.
