Asia Pacific Regional Jamboree

An Amateur Radio station E25AJ is now active from the Asia Pacific Regional Jamboree.

This is being held on the site of the 20th World Scout Jamboree at Sattahip in Thailand. The event runs from today (28 December) until 3 January 2006.

The station is very active and is manned by at least 30 Thai amateurs.

Propagation predictions suggest that the best times and bands to contact
E25AJ from the UK are:
20m - 14:00 - 17:00Z
15m - 10:00 - 15:00Z

QSL for stations not in Japan is via E21EIC (Champ C. Muangamphun, P.O. Box 1090, Kasetsart University, Bangkok 10903, Thailand)

Reports suggest that, unlike the 20th World Jamboree, the site has experienced rain most nights.
