Philippines Amateur Radio Association anniversary

Some 300 amateur radio enthusiasts from around the Philippines and abroad attended the 73rd Philippine Amateur Radio Association Anniversary and Hamvention in Baguio City November 25 through 27.

This year's 'mission statement?'
"Well their Hamvention was all about Filipino amateur radio enthusiasts working together as a team for the continuous improvement of the hobby. It was also a great 'eyeball' for all Para districts and the hams from abroad."

Officials of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), local officials of Baguio, Para directors and officials also joined the occasion.

Amateur radio clubs such as DX2TI (Texas Instruments), DX2B (The Barons), DX2Triac and DX2AAA organized the event.
