Review of Spectrum Allocations for Studio to Transmitter Links

A second Engineering Discussion Paper concerning Spectrum Allocations for Studio to Transmitter Links (STLs) has been prepared and published (19 December 2005) by New Zealand's RSM.

The second discussion paper contains a number of proposals concerning possible future frequency band arrangements for STLs and also includes a summary of the results of studies arising from the summary of submissions received as a result of the first discussion paper.

Submissions in response to the proposals in the second discussion paper are encouraged and should be communicated to radiospectrum@med.govt.nz, by 17 February 2006.

All documents relevant to the discussion paper can be found at http://www.rsm.govt.nz/spp/stl/.
