Analogue TV broadcasts in the Netherlands have endedThe analogue TV transmitters in the Netherlands were switched off overnight Monday, bringing to an end 55 years of terrestrial analogue programme delivery. The terrestrial tv programme delivery is now 100% digital. For the majority of people, the historic change will have passed unnoticed,
as most households in the Netherlands receive their TV programmes via
cable. But 74,000 households have had to make alternative arrangements
- for those without a cable connection, transmissions are available via
digital terrestrial and satellite Source: Media Network
