Head of ERO Retires -
replaced by Mark Thomas (Ex-Ofcom)
Thormod (Tom) Boe head of the European Radio-communications
Office (ERO) is retiring.
Tom, who is licenced as LA7OF, recognised the importance
of the Amateur Radio Services and he will be greatly missed.

The new ERO head is Mark Thomas formerly of the Radio Authority and Ofcom.
Mark joined the Radio Authority as Head of Engineering at its inception
in 1990 and more recently was Head of Broadcast Technical Policy at Ofcom.
Prior to joining the RA he had worked for five years at Mercury Communications
(systems technology, and microwave engineering).
