The PEARS HF QSO PartyThe Port Elizabeth Amateur Radio Society's HF QSO Party will be on the air over the weekend of 9 and 10 December. The contest runs from 10:00 UTC on Saturday to 10:00 UTC on Sunday. The aim of the contest is for DX operators and South African stations with a ZS or ZU prefix to make as many contacts with ZR stations on HF as possible. South African ZR stations are to make as many HF contacts as possible with any other stations (including other ZRs). This is a SSB only contest with activity on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres. Please consult the complete rules for the exact frequencies to be used.
