USA to use former TV Freqs for Broadband Emergency Comms

In the United States the Federal Comminications Commission (FCC) has annouced that former UHF TV frequencies will be used for a Broadband Wireless Emergency Communications system.

On this side of the Atlantic the UK Regulator Ofcom has just started its big consultation on what the UHF TV "Digital Dividend" spectrum should be used for.
