Callsign change for Lisbon D-Star Repeater

Carlos Nora, CT1END President of REP - Rede dos Emissores Portugueses, has announced that a first D-STAR repeater now operating in Lisboa, Portugal will change its call sign. This alteration is due to future Gateway linking to Internet.

The repeater operates only at the 70 cm Amateur Radio band, on a Digital Repeater Communications sub-band on IARU recommendations channels.

- New Call Sign: CQ0DLX. (The old Call is CQ0UDLX)
- TX Repeater: 438,550 MHz.
- RX Repeater: 430,950 MHz.
- Shift: -7,6 MHz.
- RF Power: 25 W.
- QTH local designation: Penha de França - Lisboa.
- Geographic Location: 38º43'38'' N / 09º07'51'' W
- Locator Maidenhead: IM58kr
- Altitude (ASL): 115m

This National Ham Radio Association have join efforts with NAUCOM (Icom's delegate company for Portugal ), and thanks to ICP-ANACOM - (the equivalent to FCC in Portugal), the project have become achievable. With such partnership it was possible to engage this new technology in Portugal.
