chances for GB75PW
December will see the final opportunities to work GB75PW
- the special callsign issued to celebrate the 75th anniversary of
Practical Wireless magazine.
This Saturday, 22nd of December, PW Editor Rob Mannion, G3XFD,
will be activating this unique callsign.
Rob will be setting-up a portable station at Povington Hill in Dorset.
Operation will get underway at 1300 GMT with Rob operating
on 144MHz (and possibly 70MHz), using FM and SSB. This will be a be a
solo operation by Rob.
Your final chance to work GB75PW will come
on the 29th, when Rob will join members of the Poole Radio Society
to give the callsign its last-ever airing.
These are definately your last opportunities to work this unique callsign
