A version of the 'Shack Sloth' award is available for
SWLs,
and this has been achieved by two G (England) SWLs (Roger Leighton &
Ian Bradbury BRS188236) and one ON (Belgium) SWL (Peter Destoop ONL-5923)
so far.
The Chaser Section of SOTA has been so keenly followed by
some stations that they have amassed some amazing totals.
Within the SOTA community, the word 'Supersloth' is
colloquially used to acknowledge reaching 10,000 chaser
points. Amazingly, this has been achieved by no less than
13 stations:
GW4BVE, G4JZF, G4BLH, G0NES, GM4FAM, GW0VMZ, GW0DSP, 2E0HJD, G4SSH, DL3JPN,
DL4ALI, G4OBK, 2E0NHM
The first to record 10,000 chaser points were GW4BVE and
G4JZF, while the current fastest scorer is GM4FAM with a
2007 daily average of over 35 points!
