Morse Code versus Text MessagingOn the USA Tonight Show a couple of years ago, Radio Amateurs using Morse Code (CW) faced a text messaging (SMS) team. The video of the show has been made available on YouTube. The TV programme was broadcast on Friday 13th May 2005 and of course the Radio Amateurs using Morse Code won hands down ! Australia also held a CW vs SMS challenge around the same time, see Morse code still beats SMS
