Crozet Island, AF-008Big news concerning Crozet Island which is ranked under the Top Ten of the Most Wanted DXCC entities. Florentin, F4DYW, will work on the French Alfred Faure Base (AF-008, WAP-WADA FRA-02) from Dec 8,2008, until Nov 30, 2009. His callsign will be FT5WO and activities can be expected in SSB on 40m, 20m, 15m and maybe also on 80m. He hopes to get his station operational within a week. Florentin will use a FT-757GX with 100 watts with several dipoles and a FD4 antenna. QSL cards should be sent direct or via the REF bureau to his homecall.
