Hawk with transmitter found in India close to Pakistan border

A dead hawk has aroused considerable curiosity among security agencies.

Police said that on closer inspection, the bird was found to be fitted with a transmitter and antennae tied to its tail and wings.

The transmitters and antennae were sent to a Forensic Science Laboratory for inspection to find out the makeup of the instruments and whether the bird could have been used for spying.
