UK Moon mission gets green light

At the AMSAT-UK Colloquium in July, there were two presentations on the proposal for the UK MoonLITE project.

According to Astronomy Now the project has been given the go ahead by the government to enter into an in-depth 'Phase-A' study.

The AMSAT-UK Colloquium was held at the University of Surrey in Guildford from July 25-27. Most of the presentations were videoed and can be watched again on the BATC video website at http://www.batc.tv/
