Worcester Radio Amateurs Association intermediate success

Over the past 12 weeks or so WRAA Instructors have been busy with their very first Intermediate course, this finished with the dreaded examination on Tuesday 16th December

The instructors didn’t realise what they were taking on when the course began. Not only was it the very first intermediate course that they had run, it was also their largest too; with 17 candidates taking part. Obviously having candidates who were already on the ladder with the Foundation license under their belts was a big help, but dealing with such a large group was a logistical nightmare sometimes.

All that being said, all but one were successful in achieving the required pass rates to gain their Intermediate license, and will soon be heard on the air sporting shiny new 2E0 callsigns.

Well done to all of you, and we look forward to seeing some of you for the Advanced License course in 2009
