Amateur Pioneer - Herb VK3JO

A video showing Herb VK3JO, one of the early radio experimenters in the 1920's is now available.

The YouTube description says:

One of the last of the original radio hams, Herb VK3JO was experimenting in the early days of radio in the 1920's.
The first part of this video is from 1993 when I visited him in his shack and he has a contact on his 60 year old equipment.

The second part is an interview done at a ham fest in 2004. He died about 6 months after this interview and was very active on the air up to a few days before the end.

VK3JO is now held by John the man in the white shirt taking photos during the interview.
