BT Home Networking questionnaireBT (British Telecom) are conducting a survey on Home Networking, apparently to determine if potential users would prefer a power line PLT/PLA or radio based (WiFi) solution. The Power Line Adaptors that BT have been using for their BT Vision product are claimed to pollute the RF spectrum, ruining peoples' enjoyment of radio over a wide area around the house they are installed in. The questionnaire does not ask for name or personal details and says: Among the questions are: 5. Do you use any powerline home networking products in your home? 7. Which of the following best describes your attitude to Powerline? 15. Which of the following statements best describes your experience of WiFi? You can fill in the questionnaire at Comtrend Powerline Adaptors - Radio Interference Video BT Vision; the radio interference iceberg The UKQRM website has a video page showing the horrendous interference that Power Line Adaptors produce. The Radio Society of Great Britain has established a Spectrum Defence Fund to fight against PLA/PLT and the threat that these systems pose.
