Electronics Weekly - Digital TV DVB-T2 standard

The latest issue of Electronics Weekly magazine has an article on the new DVB-T2 Digital TV standard.

DVB-T2 is set to replace the old DVB-T standard used in current UK digital set top boxes.

Initially it is being used to provide High Definition TV (HDTV) but it would seem inevitable that it will eventially be used for standard definition TV as well since it could provide up to 19 standard definition TV channels per multiplex instead of the current 8.
