Morse video - NATO hand key

A YouTube video shows one of the classic NATO Morse keys from the 1970's.

Morse was once widely used by NATO forces and the Morse key shown in the video used to be readily available second-hand at Amateur Radio Rallies.

The YouTube description says:

Sending CW (Morse code) with my NATO hand key. Morse is no longer used commercially and it is down to radio amateurs to keep it alive. Who knows, one day it may be needed again. Our modern communications rely on high technology and support and can be vulnerable to unforseen threats. But the simple CW transceiver and a hand key are the most basic means by which we can send a message vast distances and require minimal maintenance.
