Ofcom Draft Annual Plan 2010/11

On Wednesday Ofcom published its draft annual plan 2010/11 and is holding a series of public meetings across the UK to hear peoples' views.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for everyone with an interest in the regulation of the communications industries to discuss Ofcom's approach to television, radio, telecoms and wireless communications services. Each meeting will begin with a brief presentation, after which there will be an opportunity to comment and ask questions.

In 2.55 of the document Ofcom say "We will continue to deliver essential services, including keeping the airwaves free from interference,"

A2.4 says they "ensure that non-compliant equipment is removed from the market."

A2.5 says "Our strategy is to focus our resources on keeping the radio spectrum free from harmful interference."
