Shortwave listener members of the Servamus/CPF/Emcom Amateur Radio Wing moniterd broadcasts on the Voice of Americas Africa Service regarding snow storms that was predicted for the State of Virginia and Washinton DC.

This was relayed as snow storm warnings and placed on the Internet as Pre-warnings for the communities of the mentioned American States.

Several local Storm warnings was handeld in South Africa aswell as emergency road closures resulting from motor vechile accidents. Crime alerts and hot spots was also handeld as emergency radio traffic.... each incident is a emergency situation in its own right.
