TV news report of XW-1 satellite

A TV news report broadcast by CCTV-9 about the launch of Amateur Radio satellite XW-1 (Hope One) along with the remote sensing satellite Yaogen-8 is now available.

The CAMSAT XW-1 carries three Amateur Radio transponders for FM, AX.25 and SSB/CW working and initial tests appear to indicate they are all working.

The CW beacon can be heard on 435.790 +/- 9 kHz Doppler shift.
