Chelmsford Meeting - Chain Home RadarOn Tuesday, January 4, the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society will be showing a video on the development of the Chain Home Radar network in the late 1930's. The Chain Home system played a vital part in WWII and this is a meeting that's not to be missed. After the break CARS President The talk takes place on Tuesday, January 4, at the Marconi Social Club (MASC), Beehive Lane, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, CM2 9RX. The doors open at 7:10 pm and the meeting gets underway at 7:30 pm. Admittance and car parking are free and a bar is available for refreshments. Apartments have recently been built near the entrance. Look for the large "Salsa" advertisement which shows the turning for the car park.
