Giant footprint found in VK6Heath, VK6TWO the Western Australian Repeater Group President says that their group has not only been providing Amateur Radio Repeater services to WA for several decades, and has recently had a significant injection of enthusiasm, but also boasts a giant footprint across the VK6 State. The W.A.R.G. has been VERY busy this year with several projects and activities taking place. Probably the most significant of the activities was the WIA's Centenary Celebrations through use of the VK100WIA callsign throughout the event called "Super Springtime" as detailed on the front cover of the November edition of AR Magazine. Super Springtime also saw two simultaneous public displays of Amateur Radio at Wireless Hill and the Perth Royal Show for the duration of the event.
