Isla de Lobos IOTA operationA group of South American ham radio operators will activate Isla de Lobos (WLOTA 0799, ARLHS URU-002) as CW5R between December 8-13th. Operators mentioned are YL Andreina YY4AND, Atilano PY5EG, Peter PY5CC, Rick PY2EL, Hugo CX1ABB, Lupo CX6ABC, Jorge CX6DAP, Nelson CX6ACY, Enrique CX8BBA, Bano CX3ABC, Pedro CX5BW, Julian CX5BE, Lupo CX2ABC, Federico CX7BZ and Aparicio CX1BM. Activity will be on 80m-70cm usingCW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. Some possible 160m operations will take placeif the summer QRN permits. The team will also be in the ARRL 10M Contest (Decemeber 11-12th).
